The Street Superintendent is in charge of the following:

• Fill Potholes
• Replace damaged or faded street signs
• Clean out storm sewer drains
• Plow and salt all city streets and city parking lots
• Put up and remove Christmas Decorations on Southport Road
• Inspect the playground equipment & make repairs as necessary
• Hanging and removal of flags
• Adopt a Median Coordinator for the Stop 11 project

The Superintendent works closely with the Mayor, Chief of Police and the Clerk Treasurer, by doing general maintenance around the city offices and police station.
